Here are some pictures of my Commander after some mods. I was able to do these after some guys broke into it and tried to take my JVC radio. Also included are pictures with suggestions for installing the radio add on modules and the antennas for GPS and Sirius. I did this install my self so if you have any questions let me know. Hope you like what I did with my Commander.

Did you buy your Commander new? I like the interior mods a lot. Looks like you did a great job. Sucks that it got broken into, but you've decided to make lemonade!

Congrats...

Looks very nice, I'm actually I’m thinking about getting the AVIC-Z2 and I was planning on installing the GPS antenna in the same place, I’m not so sure if I will be getting the Sirius radio, but if I do I’m thinking on installing the antenna on the back of the xk. Have you have any problems with your Pioner? Some people have over heating problems, also, how good does the GPS works, it seems there have been some problems with that too…

I actually bought it used but it only had 16K on it. I have not had any problems with the Pioneer yet except on the initial install of the Sirius. Apparently it was bad and as soon as I changed it out everything has been working perfectly. The bluetooth works great and so does the HD radio. I will soon be adding the ipod cable and the rear camera since it is hard to look out the back with the dark tint. As far as the GPS, I hooked up both the speed pulse and reverse wires to the wire harness and have not had any issues at all.

nice set up and pics. i had my xm antenna like yours, located in front. I found the instructions for an aftermarket installation kit and moved the antenna to the back. It works well. Before, the cable would not stay down and I didnt like the wire and plastic wrap in front. The XM antenna on mine is not in 2 parts, but one long wire and I did not drill a hole.

This is the install instructions for the NAV unit. The pics look like the GPS antenna is under the dash.....
