I ordered a set of Cooper STT's today in 265/70R17. They should be in by Friday. Just in time for the weekend! According to what I have read I don't think they will rub anywhere. I have a 2" RC lift and 1.5" Spydertrax spacers that I HAVE to install before the tires go on though. I just need more time,,,:headbang:

I've got to concentrate... concentrate... concentrate... I've got to concentrate... concentrate... concentrate... Hello?... hello... hello... Echo!... echo... echo... Pinch hitting for Pedro Borbon... Manny Mota... Mota... Mota...

I was eyeballing those things too, but decided on the ATR's so I wouldn't have ''log truck howl'' on the freeway. :D

So far, I've made it past anything I've aimed the front of the XK at. I also know it isn't just me... friends have also noticed how nice the Jeep rides with the Coopers. My 255/70's have never rubbed with a RR 2.25'' lift.

!!!

Well, I installed the 2" RC lift, wheel spacers, and new rubber yesterday. I know it is lame to post driveway pix, but my Grandmother just passed away and I have a funeral to attend. So please excuse that and I will re-post a few trail test pix when I can...

My Commander is drawing a lot more attention now!

Driveway pics are better than no pics at all ! It really looks great with that lift and those Coopers. Sorry about your Grrandmother's passing -- my condolences.

Thanks for the condolences. The tires do rub slightly, but not all the time. Only when I brake and turn. I think a little heat to that bulging plastic inside the fender will cure it though. BTW...the service techs at the local tire shop where I got them installed were in love with this set-up.
