simple. do you use your 3rd row.

i'm devising a storage system for the rear without any of the seats or jack holder in the way. it would be nice because i can fit a drawer system in there. that way you don't have to reach in really far to get stuff out.

That would be nice, but what about all of that space below?

Ok first off what the hell is up with all of the spam/porn lately. Either someone isnt doing there job properly...lol jk. Anyways like i have stated once before, as soon as my son is old enough to where i no longer need a stroller ill be relocating my spare tire back there. A 32+ inch tire definately wont fit underneith and ill be damned if im going to struggle getting it off of a roof rack if i get a flat. So ill order a tire carrier for the bed of a truck and just get rid of the third row seats and mount it back there. Ill also make something to store a tool box and other things needed when going on off road trips!

So how ya gonna sleep back there with a tire when your wife tosses you out? I mean when you go camping on the mountain top??:icon_confused: That is why mine is still flat and smooth.

To date I have never used my third row, not sure how much I would haul in a storage drawer either but it would be cool to have a drawer UNDER the third row.

Use it all the time. I haul family around a lot, and we actually cram full-size adults back there for short trips around the area. Had a few weekend trips recently with 5 people total, and we stuck 1 person back there by herself for 8 hours, she was fine. She sat/laid sideways, of course, but actually wasn't too bad to do that, she said.

It's handy. I keep those seats down whenever I'm not using them, but still nice to have the option.

no room at all without the seats gone.

it kind of sucks. i'm afraid of my crap hitting me in the head if i roll or wreck. my winch recovery equipment bag would kill me.

You know, I never really took that into consideration. Looks like Ill be investing in a nice tent or something. A spare tire the same size as the other four is a must!

I've used it once when my sister and her family came up to visit. Other than that it stays down. I plan on keeping my third row.

Without the third row, I'd be forced to drive something else. I saw the Commander at the Philly Auto Show a couple of years ago and knew it was for me. My wife tut-tutted the lack of space behind the third seat, but the cargo basket solved that problem.

As I've said before, my 9 year old and our Irish Terrier love it back there, and both are agile enough that access to the third row is not an issue.
