If anybody can help, I would greatly appreciate it.

I recently downloaded some old cartoons for my son to watch on the VES on our 2006 Commander. Most are in MPEG-4Movie file types.

Does anybody know what file types the VES uses, and/or how to convert them to that type?

Thanks for any and all help
Dr. J

You can use various software that comes both with Windows and Mac Operating Systems. With Mac, you would use iDVD. With Windows, it's Movie Maker. Open either application and select the media you would like to import, in this case, you're cartoons in mpeg-4. After selecting all the files, (you would insert them into the respective programs by dragging them), you would burn a DVD-R. In iDVD, select the burn icon; in Movie Maker you have to select the type of media, DVD, the quality, etc. I don't know about the conversion software or how complicated it is. Remember, DVD-R is for players like the one in the VES or a home DVD player. DVD+R is for computers. Most DVD players for the home or car do NOT play DVD+R. Hope this helps.
