Ok I have a '07 comm. that is running cold when i go over 65 MPH. I replaced the fan because it was shot, but didn't fix the problem and the new fan still isn't working. Has anyone had a problem like this before???

Where are you and what is the temperature outside?

In really cold areas, its not uncommon to have to block some or all of the airflow to the radiator to prevent what you're describing.

It's def cold here around 20. How would you go about doing what you describe?

The thermostat was also replaced about 6 months ago so I don't think that's it.

20 is NOT cold. When I say "Cold," I mean -20 for extended periods.

You can buy "curtains" for the radiator of most vehicles in sub-arctic and arctic areas; they are typically square in shape, cut with an X so that you can peel back a triangle (or remove it entirely), and they allow you to cover all or part of the radiator to prevent too much heat exchange due to the very cold air.

Probably the thermostat - last thing changed is usually the part that breaks. I've run at -20 without covering the radiator and engine gets to regular temperature without any problem. The fan only runs when the coolant reaches a high temperature. Theromastat is stuck open.

That would be my guess, too.

I would take the opportunity to flush the entire coolant system, seeing as though its still quite warm where you are, lol!!!

As living in North Dakota, i deal with temperatures being below 0 F for most of the winter. When i make my way back to Minnesota, my commander never gets to the middle mark of my temperature gauge (5 hours of driving). It happens in the summer time as well, but it runs healthy and starts ever time, regardless of the weather. Maybe the coolant system is too good.

Engine runs rough when cold ?

As the weather has gotten colder my car seems to be running rough when the engine is cold. Once I put it in gear and drive a couple hundred yards it is fine. It is just louder inside the car and vibrates more. It didn't use to run rough in cold weather. Engine doesn't die. What could have caused this to start all of a sudden?
