can someone enlighten me as to how i'd go about removing the factory grille, i think instead of spending $200 bucks, ill take the grille off and do a custom spray paint job on the bars running verticle, inside the 7 slots of the grille.
Just in case you haven't received the info yet. There are push pins that hold the top of the grille on. You first have to take a screwdriver and pick the part in the center of teh push tab up. Then you can pull the entire tab out. When you have them all removed you can simply raise the grille straight up.
The reinstall is exactly the same except you have to make sure the tabs on the bottom of the grille are in the slot on the bottom where the grille fits up against the body.
Its extremely easy. My wife was handing my tools when I did my grille swap rolling her eyes and when I was done in 5 minutes she was like. That wasn't so bad. LOL
