Let's see some pictures of everyones cable path they used under the hood...... How did you run the power wire from the battery to your off-road lights or stereo amplifiers?
Where is the best place to run the wires through the firewall?

I dont know if I have pics, but my biggest problem was room for a drill...it is too tight. I ended up drilling a couple inches to the left of where the throttle cable goes thru. But had to wiggle the drill around to get close.

See if you can find a grommet of some type to put in the hole so wires dont get cut on the firewall.

Quite a while ago someone said they used an unused grommet in the firewall.

Grill Guard Off Road Lamps
This is an install guide for Grill Guard lights for the Commander...
This shows how to install a wire and run it thru the fire wall. I used this and
it works well. I also put a switch where they show. BAD IDEA I hit it every
I got in or our of the Jeep. Ran my battery down more than once.

there is a sizable unused grommet on drivers side on the V6, it is used for a throttle cable on one of the V8s I believe.
Throttle cable is for 4.7. V6 and Hemi are drive by wire, so they don't use this grommet. :eek:rangehat:

That doesn't mean that his information isn't useful to someone trying to search for information?

Maybe cico should've searched for a better answer instead of giving advice?
