I'm open to whatever is convenient for those that want to attend. If we get a decent amount of people interested, we could even find a county / state park to meet where there's some shade and plenty of places to park and hang out.

So, now that I've relocated to SE Alabama, 5 1/2 hours away, somebody else will have to organize the Florida meet-up.
