Hi all, something been bugging me, can someone check there Commander at night or in your garage... does the symbols on the centre/gear selection console light up with the rest of the dash? Like “D” , “R” or “+ -“ etc.

I took the silver trim of one’s before and looked around and can’t see any obvious light bulbs.

No lights on the shift lever. It shows what gear it is in/selected in the speedometer area EVIC

Yes there are lights on the shift lever. Pry up the chrome trim around the shift lever, start at back so if scratched it will not show as much. The chrome trim is just snapped in place. Then pry off the next cover, Wood grain. Look for lights.
