Planning to head back for some camping and some fun. I'll probably be there midday Friday and do some wheeling then. Also There's a radio tower in the middle of the Off road area on the top of a small mountain/ large hill that overlooks the surrounding county And will probably head up there at night to see the lights. Then will wheel most of Saturday and leave Saturday around 4-5 o'clock.

Everyone's invited.

So far there are 4 and a maybe going.

There are Hotel's within 5-6 miles for the non camping type. Also they Have R/V hookups and Improved tent sites with elec. and water. There is primitive camping as well about 1 mile up the main park road.

I'll probably have at least 1 kid of mine going and maybe my wife and the other kid.

Be great if Quite a few of us could get up there.

Just got off the phone w/ Super and we're talking about camping out at the park (i.e. tents)

We talked about rolling into the park, setting up camp, then hitting the trail. Return to the camp later and eat, then that night going up on some big hill looking down at the park.

He said we can roll until midnight......yikes

FIgure we can do the camp fire thinggie, paly guitar and tell ghost stories ;^P

Getting closer to Hidden Falls, TX off roading. 1 month left.
Just me and my oldest girl are going so if it's really cold we might sleep in the back of the commander with the seats folded flat or if warmer might take the tent. Depends on the weather.
Theres a couple of us planning on going that I know of still.
Just figured I'd bump the thread to remind people.

^Looking forward to having you.

Less than 2 weeks now! Getting close. I have officially gotten the day off and plan to meet StrokeZ somewhere around 290/Beltway 8. Haven't nailed the time down just yet or the meeting location. Those who can't come earlier on friday can meet us there at the park. I've got a buddy with a 90s cherokee coming as well.
PM me if you want any extra info or a contact # for myself. There are Hotels about 5 miles from the park. There's just about every major chain hotel located around that area for those who don't want to camp.

Decided to add a trail map to the post:

Bunch more where this came from and Superacerc has more but you might like a few of these (especially the first one!).

Busted a front swaybar the first night - looks like a manufacturer defect...

Didn't really notice it at all until I got it on the road. Becuase I had the driver side link still attached I could hear the clicking of the bar from time to time, but nothing big. It broke the first night under very light articulation. Hoping Superlift sends me a freebee to replace it.

Still had the drivers side link so didn't really notice it until I hit the road. This one broke on the first run under very very light articulation. Definitely a defective part in my mind but will see what Superlift has to say

Yeah for some reason got a web page error on the first post and didn't look like it went through. And yeah, we both probably have been!
