I got this at 1% below invoice plus the $2,000 rebate. Its a 4x2 3.7 liter with the "U" package (leather, sunroof, etc.). The only option I got was the NAV system. Everything out the door (incl. taxes of around $2500) came out to like $33,000. So far, love the car and I was worried that the 3.7 would be weak, but driving around town is just fine (as long as you dont tow I guess).
The NAV system is awesome as well as the Boston Accoustics system. The 1 year free SIRIUS radio is ok, but I dont think its worth it.

Is it just me or does the Sirius system get no signals all the time?
I only have problems when going under large over passes... not much else interferes w/it where I am. I have had it for 2 years now...

I'm amazed by how well the Sirius signal gets through -- even plays fine in the 9-level garage I park in for work in downtown Detroit.

It sometimes drops signal for a split second under overpasses, and I've had it simply stop playing for a few seconds a couple of times when there are no obstructions whatsoever. Otherwise, it's always there so far. This in southern Michigan -- I haven't done any cross-country or up north driving yet...

It's only been five weeks into my year of free Sirius but so far I've pretty much decided to subscribe and start paying when the freebie ends.

Congrats on getting a new Commander- If you are getting poor reception with Sirius, you might want to make sure the Antenna is not blocked or dirty. The receiver is located on your dash- looks like a little bubble. Last Sunday I drove out to my folks and was able to catch a NFL game- :D

Hmm, my Sirius antenna is the little black box up on the roof of the vehicle at the back, over the liftgate -- wonder if it varies depending on which stereo you got?

I'd certainly prefer it up top to the dash mount. I've got that little bubble on my dash but assumed it was for some option I don't have...maybe something to do with the headlight dimming, or Nav system, etc?

That really blows... look on ebay... see if some one local to you (that normally doesn't sell radios) is selling it....

They can either sell it or use it in their vehicle....Good luck with the repairs!
