Hello,
I'm introducing myself as a new member and a new Commander owner. My name is Jim, and I just purchased a 2007 Silver Commander Limited. It has the 5.7 Hemi with QDII and 123,000 miles. Not really worried about the miles as at 100000 miles a vehicle is just getting broke in. Here in SW Kansas, we have to drive 45 miles just to get to a Wal Mart and around 3 hours until we get to a city over 50000 people (and that is the way I like it). So with this much driving, I normally keep most of my vehicles until they are well over 200000 miles and as long as I service them regularly they seem to keep on going.

No major plans for modifications to the Commander at this time. Need to drive it some and see what it needs and also will watch this forum to get ideas and see what works and what doesn't. Will use it as a daily driver and use it for weekend trips to the mountains. This will be by 2nd Jeep as I owned a 1986 Jeep Grand Wagoneer and loved it until it had a run in with a deer and ended up getting rid of it as the cost of repairing it was way more than it was worth. I have been looking for a bigger jeep to replace it and when I ran across this Commander, it fit the bill. When you are 6'3" and 250, my wife being 6'0", and my daughter 6'1" we need big vehicles with lots of room. I haven't got to drive it much yet so I am looking forward to many adventures in my new Commander. Talk at you later.

Thanks for the links. I looked at them and I think there will be very useful. I will get some pics of the Commander up once I have a little time to take a couple and get the loaded.
