I just grabbed a 2006 5.7 Hemi and I'm pretty happy to experience it. I've had a Jeep Liberty Renegade, Jeep Wrangler JK Sahara (rock rails, bumper, winch, larger tires, oil cooler) and a Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk in succession.

My favorite by far has been the wrangler but I'm older and put on a bunch of miles every year and I need a bit more towing. Plus I don't want to throw $40K at a vehicle anymore.

I live in Minnesota and drive on old logging trails up north on a regular basis. Not much pure off-roading so most likely no trips to Moab in my future.

Anyhow, I love the Hemi, I guess I'll need to buy a code reader and please wish me good luck as I learn about my new-to-me ride....

Thanks for the welcome package! I'm a little adverse to some aftermarket mods. Everything I had on my wrangler started to rust after about three years. Yuck.

I know exactly what you mean @Polar .

I spend more time cleaning my XK, then I do driving it.

Keeping it garaged - if you have that resource available, really does help a lot.

I just had a fresh coat of under-coat sprayed on, under Big Blue yesterday.

I plan on posting some before & after pics in a few days.
