I am wondering if there are any out there that have experienced too much sway in the rear end of your commander. It seems that every time I travel over something uneven, my rear end seems to wobble back and forth too much. I just installed new Bilstein rear shocks (which by the way are fantastic compared to what I had before), but the wobble is still there. The rear sway bar and links seem to be intact. I'm thinking rear springs mabye? Has anybody had to do any other upgrades to tighten up the rear end? All suggestions or comments would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

I replaced my rear springs when I replaced my rear shocks - it just seemed like the smart thing to do, but, I can't say that I ever experienced the kind of rear end sway that you're describing.

Have you checked your rear lower control arms/bushings - or had them checked out?

Yeah, I remember reading that you replaced your springs. The rear control arms and bushings look worn, so I think I'll start there and get those replaced. Thanks for your input Blue

Thats what I would do as those bushings are definitely a wear item.

If your springs are factory, might be an idea to do both at the same time. I just replaced my front uppers with the JBA's and the lowers with NAPA premiums. My factory lowers were completely pounded out with the clevice bolts almost completey sitting at the bottom of the bushing opening. I gained more than an inch of lift

Thanks again for all the input. I'll probably look at replacing the springs along with the rear control arms in due time.

I would recommend that, especially if you plan on doing any towing. It surely won't hurt anything.
