I'm having a hard time figuring out how to fix my Commander.
- It takes several tries to start the vehicle, idle purges from high to low, almost wanting to stall.
- Check engine, Traction control, Oil Pressure light are ON, and the Throttle control light flashes in the dashboard.
- The OBD code is P0335 (Crankshaft Position Sensor Circuit).
- And finally the gas pedal will not respond, (does not rev up).

Also my wife just filled it up with gas last night. And we have just traveled from utah to san diego

Country: United States
Make (manufacturer): jeep
Model: commander
Year: 2007
Engine (optional): hemi 5.7

Hmmmmm, I wonder what should be the first thing you investigate????

I'd inspect the sensor and its wiring. A connector full of oil and grime can short out, clean it and treat it with dielectric grease. If you can't find anything wrong with the wiring or connector, I would get another CPS sensor and replace it.
