I have a 2008 Jeep Commander and I've been trying to remove the spare tire from under the jeep for a good 30mins. May anyone please tell me how to get it out (if I need any extra tools or anything).
Open the back of your Commander and you will find a small hole with a plug in it under the cover for your jack. Take the plug out and use the tool to turn the bolt that releases the cable that is holding up your spare.
The tool is in your cloth roll up pouch of tools for your jack.
