Understood but just to let you know the instructions above were not available. I found the area by clicking on my profile and then 'account details' where I filled in the applicable fields.
Good enough.

The instructions in the New Member Required Reading have been updated accordingly;

Thank you.

First & foremost; You're expected to acknowledge & respond to all communications that are sent to you, by a Forum Moderator or Forum Administrator in a timely manner; This includes PM's (Private Messages); messages on your profile page & e-mails. This also applies to posts in any thread, from a Moderator or Administrator, that are specifically addressed to you. Failure to do so will adversely affect your forum membership, which includes the possibility of being banned from the forum for violation of forum rules.

Each member is allowed one user profile and one user profile only; Any member caught creating multiple user profiles will immediately be permanently banned from the forum for Violation of forum rules.

Profile User Names
; Please use some common sense & discretion while registering & choosing a user name. This is a public forum; Anyone who selects a username that could be construed as offensive to others and/or inappropriate, by Forum Moderators/Staff members, will be banned from the forum without warning. So again, please exercise good morale character & sound judgement, when selecting your user name.

If you are a new member and registering to create your user profile - YOU SHOULD LOG-IN FROM A DESKTOP OR LAPTOP COMPUTER. There are New Member Profile Questions that must be answered with profile fields that must be filled out; They are easily accessed & viewed if you are logged in from a desktop or laptop computer - IT IS EXTREMELY DIFFICULT TO VIEW ALL OF THE PROFILE QUESTIONS / FIELDS IF YOU ARE LOGGED IN ON A SMART PHONE USING THE MOBILE VIEW APP.

These Profile Questions/Fields are a mandatory requirement and must be answered & filled in completely by ALL FORUM MEMBERS - Failure to comply will result in progressive disciplinary action, up to & including the possibility of being banned from the forum, for violation of forum rules.

To complete your user profile questions/fields take the following steps in this order:

Once logged-into the forum - with the forum home page displayed, Click on your avatar, which is displayed at the top right-hand corner of your screen;

At the bottom of the menu that is displayed, select Account Settings as shown in the image below;

Once in Account Settings, select 'Account details' (as shown below) where you will answer your profile questions by filling in the applicable fields.

If you don't own a Commander just answer "No" to the "Own a Commander?" question and you don't need to answer any more of the Commander specific questions. If you do own a Commander, obviously, you'll answer "Yes" and then answer the rest of the questions pertaining to your Commander.

When your user profile questions are properly completed, your Commander's information will be displayed similar to this;

Own a Commander?: Yes
Model year: 2008
Trim Package: Sport
Power-Train: 4.7L V-8
2WD or 4WD: 4WD
If 4WD - system: QT-II
Current Mileage: 86,500

Once your profile has been completed, our community would certainly like to get to know you better, so, please take the time to post an introduction thread in the new member section.

This is our normal new member protocol
and a long time tradition, here in our Jeep Commander.com community.

If you post your 1st post/New Member Introduction thread without completing your user profile as directed here - you will be issued a forum warning, or a forum infraction, depending on if it's a repeat offense or not. Failure to complete your user profile as directed, will result in progressive discipline, up to & including, potentially, being banned from the forum for violation of forum rules. The length of the ban will be determined by the Forum Moderators, based on the circumstances, as well as the member's response - or lack thereof.

PLEASE: Do not post your New Member introduction in another member's thread;

Your introduction post should be your own "New Member" thread that you've created in the New Member sub-forum.

Please tell us your name (first name - or even a nick-name is fine) & where you're from; Then you can follow up with other information like the year, trim package, color, power-train, and 4WD system of the Commander you own - or the Commander you are looking for. You may also add whatever other relevant background information you would like to share.

UNTIL YOU REACH 5 POSTS - You will only be able to post in the New Member Section - but you can read any thread or post, in any sub-forum.

Once you hit 5 posts, your full user privileges will automatically kick-in and you will be able to post in the entire forum - including all of the sub-forums and you will also be able to post photos, URLs & hyperlinks.

When posting or uploading images - please don't upload or post anything larger than 1024 x 768 pixels because it bogs down the site and the image will take forever to load/open.

Since Photobucket started charging $400.00 a year for 3rd party image hosting a couple of years back, a lot of members have been asking for an alternative FREE 3rd party image hosting website - so here is a pretty good one:

Trying to answer the questions you want everyone to answer, but there are zero questions anywhere when I click on "account details". The screen shot you have showing the X next to account details does not show questions either. Am I really missing these questions somewhere?? I'm using my laptop and not my phone.

Yes - you're obviously missing quite a bit;

The questions are there as big as life;

Since you seem to be having so much trouble - Post your relevant Commander related information here - and I'll answer the questions for you @Hisgal2;

It's not that I'm having "soo much trouble".... again, your screen shot in the directions themselves does not even show the questions you want answered. ...or are you wanting me to literally type this information into the "about me" area on this page? Post me a screen shot of your "account details" page with the questions circled and I will be able to do the information myself. Thanks

I have to apologize to you @Hisgal2;

I see your point now.

It looks like there may have been some changes made to the forum in the last week or so, that I was not aware of;

Let me dig a little deeper into this and I'll get back to you.

Thank you for bringing this to my attention.

@Hisgal2; In lieu of the user profile questions, you can please create a signature containing your Commanders information by going to the Account settings tab & then clicking on the signature tab;

It should include;

Model year;
Trim package;
Power-train;
2WD or 4WD;
If 4WD - which 4WD system you have - QT-I, QT-II or QD-II;
Current Mileage;

Just as you see in my new signature.

Thank you.
