Piece of cake. you take out the 7 or 8 plastic clips on top and lift the grill off. there are instructions in the box but trust me you wont need them

Correct... easier than changing the wiper blades! (they aren't hard either...) It takes less than 5Min to do! Enjoy!:) :)

I just got our new chrome grill and installed it. Pc of cake. I went to put the chrome hood air deflector and it has lousy hardware and no matter what I do, I can't get the hood to close without hitting severely on the grill. I'm sending it back. Also, I went to put on the chrome gas door and the holes are off by 180 thousandths. No big deal except you should'nt have to hog out the holes on the vehicle to make fit. The dealer is going to call me back and is extremely helpful. Anyone else with these problems?

Dealer just called. Gas door. Wrong part number. It's for a cherokee. Deflector: didn't say much but he'll take it back and refund. Cool, even if it fit I think it would catch a lot of debris under it.

The deflector in my opinion is a pos. I returned it and there were no questions asked. The parts guy said that perhaps it hits the chrome grill because that was changed as well. Or, maybe the hood latch needs to be adjusted so the hood does not close so far. This is all unacceptable to me. It's cool. The grill is nice , the gas door too and now I have the roof rack. three out of four is not bad.

Ive installed several chrome air deflectors with no problems. May be installing them too far back. The directions do suck, like most OEM add on Acc directions, about like Ikea directions lol.

Like I told the sales rep. who was trying to sell these to me, "If it doesn't have seven slots, it doesn't belong on the front of a Jeep!"

I agree. I guess if you wanted to do that hip hop thing it might work. It's not for me though.

Installing Chrome Grille? Anybody use the MOPAR part?

In the mopar catalog, they call it an aplique. I assume that means a sticker? Has anybody ordered the chrome grill from the mopar catalog? Been thinking of this for me and my big black bad as* Commander.

Just go look it up on ebay. There are some actual chrome grills (no applique) selling for 99.99 right now. Takes about 5 minutes to pop the old one out and put the new one in.
