Jeep Invasion -- Silver Lake State Park, MI -- June 3-5, 2022

Calling all Mich Commanders !!! East, West, and North !
Join the fun this weekend for the Jeep Invasion.
I will be riding the dunes all day saturday til dinner, and site 111 at Mears state park overnight. Shoot me a PM if you want to ride along, or stop by yhe campfire for a cold one afterward.

Nice video, my wife was from Muskegon and went dune buggy riding there many times. Sadly I never did. I was a camp counselor in Twin Lakes Mi when I met my wife in 1960. Do they let Jeeps go on the trails other days. Wish I was closer - I'd be out there a lot, even though all that sand can do wonders on the XK:confused:

Its that planning time of year again. !
Just reserved a campsite at silver lake state park for this year's Jeep invasion. I will be dune ridin Friday & Saturday June 3rd-4th if anyone is interested in tagging along. :cool::D:cool:

Just returned from Southern Missouri Off-road Ranch and the wife is planning a another Michigan trip. I’ll see if the dates work for sure! Looks awesome!

Only saw one other commander out there this past weekend, and never caught up to it, but had a blast regardless!

Awesome! Share more if you can. We are planning on heading up in mid July and may visit. I didn’t see a single XK at SMOORE. But they saw me in trails doing everything they were doing with 4 kids and wife in the rig!

Strolling around the campground in the a.m. reveals some pretty cool rides and folks.

Guess what !
Its time for the annual dune run !
This year trying to plan around kids' school so going to be there Sunday-thursday june 18-22. Trying to get there saturday the 17th too but no sites are open to camp straight through and i really dont like moving camp once i set up.
Unfortunately this will be after the official jeep invasion weekend, but im still planning on a good time, and open the invitation to anyone who wants to meet up !
