Ok, so the xk has 35,3xx miles on it. Almost out of warranty. I had a few issues with it. Mostly just some minor stuff. Light out on the a/c dial. The a/c light flickering off and on, cd player ejecting cd's slow, drivers door panel is loose and squeaking. Trans feels like its slipping a little. I have a back up sensor that feels the need to go off every time its raining now. Pretty small stuff, but still wanted to get it looked at.

So i dropped it off on tues night, and will be without it for almost a week. Going out of town this weekend, taking the jk to arkansas. So i am now stuck driving my 1989 chevy 1500. Man the ride is so much worse than i remember.

Anyway, i think they will have to replace the ac control head for the bulb issue. Hopefully just some broken clips in the door panel. Of course the trans wouldnt act up when i drove with him. And the cd player does act up most of the time.

I will keep you up to date on the results

Good luck, have you considered an extended warranty? I just picked up the Chrysler maxicare 7/50K for mine for 1450.

I've been looking into them. I used to work at a d/j/c dealership, so i have a little bit of a hookup there. Just not sure how long i want to go. But will for sure be getting max care.

So i talked to my service guy. They replaced the control head for the a/c to fix the lights that were out. Fixed my squeaky door panel. Cant get the trans or cd player to act up, and just got in the new backup sensor today. They will have to paint it and put it in. Told me we are on schedule for monday still. Thank god i still have a jeep to drive when the g/f lets me...haha

Yay!!! Got it back last night. All is good, or so i thought. Got in this morning, and the express up didnt work on the front windows, but the express down did...then noticed a lot of grease stains on my headliner just inside the rear hatch, like someone had grabbed it to lean in or something. Also the sensor that they fixed was pushed in bumper further than the others.

So i took it back this morning. They reprogrammed the windows, told me the sensor was in all the way, and cleaned my headliner. All in about 40 minutes. Not too bad. And this is also a chevy dealer, so i got to look at the new camaro while i waited...what a bad a$$ car!!

So i am all fixed up now and ready to get off the pavement again...
