Well, in my post below I described how my CV axle and shocks were destroyed in a driving mishap by my wife (not her fault though).

Bought the new shocks, new CV joint, and of course my effing LCA/clevis bolt is seized. Bear with me, we're tight on money, this is a daily driver and I'm very stressed.

I need to cut the bolt off or something so I can either A) take LCA to machine shop to press new bushings, or B) just to replace the whole damn LCA.

Can I get some advice on this bolt? I've read a bunch of stuff on how to break it, and I just can't break it. So how do I push the bushing out so I can get the clevis removed?

Need very specifics please, again, not trying to sound like a jerk, just very limited on time and funds.

I lucked out and didn't run into that problem but IIRC most guys torch that bolt out. Whole New LCA would be the route that I would go.

You can cut the ends off so the strut and clevis will come out, then try to punch out what's left in the sleeve. The dealer will have new bolts (save the nuts though) for $10.
