Well, my nice little 3 month hiatus here in the states is about to come to an abrupt end.

Have to fly out to Okinawa, Japan in the morning, 26 hours of flying and sitting in airport terminals that I'm not really looking forward to, but, just another day in the life of a U.S. Merchant Marine.

Filled up the gas tank and added STA-BIL to it, then I drove around for about a half hour before I tucked her away into my 10 x 20 locked, enclosed storage unit.

Disconnected the positive battery terminal and covered her up for her 5 month slumber.

I'm a little sad.....but, when I come back in March, I'll be able to pick up where I left off and continue my quest to make Big Blue the best Commander that she can be.

oh man, well hopefully I'll have an SRT8 commander to show you when you get back, and MAYBE if I make it back down to FL, you can see it in person.

Safe travels. Sometimes we need the bitter in life to more appreciate the sweet. When you come back my Commander will finally be lifted with new wheels, tires, roof rack installed.

Sitting in the Changi Airport in Singapore in the midst of a 12 hour layover waiting for my next flight to Brunei and figured this was a good thread to post in.

I absolutely HATE sitting in airports - but this airport in Singapore makes the wait about as tolerable as it can be, they have about all the amenities you could ask for; lounges, spas, rest areas with full length lunge chairs you can stretch out on; free computer internet work stations all over the airport - they even have a 7 eleven and McDonald's here and all the shopping you could possibly ask for.

I've been in airports all over the world inluding the largest airports the U.S. has to offer and the Changi Airport in Singapore has them all beat when it comes to passenger and customer ammenities.

Yeah, I'll be back CONUS sometime in April.

I'll have JBA upper control arms to have installed and I'm going to drive down to WAM Bumpers in GA and get a custom front bumper with a winch fabricated and installed - at which point I'll be removing the Brush Guard.

I'll also be picking up a Trailer hitch mounted rear tire carrier.
