I believe the load range is both the ply rating and the max load pressure. This means that the tires are stronger and will be able to hold more weight. This is good for towing, but the reason I chose load E's is the fact that the XK loves to have a tire or two off the ground when flexing. Because of this, the tires still on the ground must bear more weight, and the XK ain't no feather. Although the lower load range would prolly be fine, the extra assurance and strength of the tire was worth the extra $10-20 per tire.

Either way you go, you'll love the Duratracs!

Ok, thanks. What you say makes sense. I dont rock crawl, so I'm seldom in the air with one or two wheels.

I just got back from ordering the C range Duratracs from Belle Tire. They are willing to take care of me despite the fact that I have spydertrax wheel spacers.

I double checked that they have road force balancing and use a spacer type hub to mount the chrome clad wheels to the balancer.

to be installed Monday.

My 265/70 MT/R's were load range C. You will be fine with Load range C
