Alright so I got an 06 commander with the 3.7 I was driving home yesterday and boom. Had the clicking sounds of lost oil pressure. So I pull over and I’ll be damned if I ain’t got an oil plug. Cool, wife and I got one with 5 quarts of oil. So driving it home and I get a loud popping noise like real loud revs up to 4500 rpm’s without touching the gas pedal. and if I don’t give it gas it dies. I’ve replaces the air intake system new spark plugs new coils new fuel injection. And no dice. Any ideas?

Welcome to the forum! 🏁🏁🏁

Sounds like the engine is toast. How long did it run in this condition?
