Lower control Arm Bolt

328 Views 10 Replies 6 Participants Last post by  calvikrue
Hello all! Does anyone know where I can a replacement bolt for the front lower control arm that connects to the front of the vehicle? Mine is currently seize, as well as my c/v axle lol. I would like to get a replacement bolt so I could either chop off the one that I have or at least replace the old one with my new control arm. Any help would be great, thank you!

Have you checked with your local dealer?
No I have not, local dealers tend to be unreliable by me. I was mainly looking for a part number, i stumbled upon one part number that I feel like may work after referencing the mopar parts website, the part number is 6503047. The actual bolt is not listed in the parts reference under the diagram, however the description shows "M16x2.00x135. LCA To Frame. Pervious Clevis, now Standard Bolt." Which almost sounds correct however, I want to be sure before I buy a $30 bolt because I will need two of them. I will perhaps call the dealer monday to confirm the part number. Any additional confirmation before I call would be highly appreciated.
This is the specific bolt i'm looking for. As pictured below.

@RaptorPatrol You might have to get it from a salvage yard.
You can check the online mopar parts houses. GTS!

I do have a fastenal near me, I’ll have to check with them. And what slide hammer grips do you have? I just have the standard 5lb slide hammer set from harbor freight.
It was the standard 5 pounder, I just want to emphasize spray blaster down inside that axel an let it soak there's a snap ring at the end of it an it's rusty down in there.
