This is a spot I found literally a mile from my home in Charlotte. I only took a few shots cause I only had my phone.

Enjoy!

It's a lot steeper in person, the XK started to scape when the mound peaked.

Cruising along, I'll have to come back after a good rain.

This spot I was hesitant about at first, it had some surprise ruts that were almost 2 feet deep that my passenger side slipped into. I made it through just fine in 4 low.

On the way out I figured I'd try backing up the mound, still bottoms out at the top....Oh and you can see how nasty those ruts got my XK.

Home.

Thank you for viewing!

Nice! There is a spot similar to that just down the road from me but it was closed to traffic about a month ago.

There is even a hill about 15 feet high at such an angle that I cannot have my tow ball attached or it will drag. The break over at the top is okay but coming down the other side causes scraping but not to bad.

Can't wait to see more pictures from that spot you found!

Thanks for the comments guys! I'm in desperate need of a car wash and interior scrub. I had the front windows cracked enough to get mud inside...

Looks like a nice spot.. I found a small spot down the road from me that does down by a river and under a big bridge... There are a couple real muddy trails but I am somewhat timid about going through them b/c the last thing I need to do is get stuck and not know anyone around that can pull me out lol.. Will have to take some pictures the next time I am down there.
