.... but only to get some warranty repairs done :)

I've asked them to look at the following, so I'll see it goes, but it does mean losing the Jeep for over a week as they've gotta get a trim guy and book it into a Jeep dealer for the false trans warning.

1/ The drivers’ door handle ‘cup’ is badly cracked
2/ The NS passenger mirror shakes at speed making
3/ The NSF front side bumper trim doesn’t lock in to the main front bumper
4/ There is a 'transmission over temp warning' that appears momentarily as you start the car.
5/ Lacquer is visible peeling under the OSR headlight and is now seeing the light of day when looking closely.
6/ Front alignment is out, car pulls to the left
7/ Split in drivers seat

I'm currently rolling around in a Chevrolet Lacetti, but a courtesy car IS the best car in the world isn't it :)

I dunno if luck is the right word, as Jeep said they've never seen so many codes on one car. They flushed the codes and that alone removed the 'tran over temp' at start warning. No other changes to gearbox software, just cleared the codes.

Of course it died around the corner with an EGR fault, but that's another story.

Happy days, the garage i bought the car from has authorised Jeep to replace the EGR and the lights stalk.

Thats gotta hurt! Bit concerned the EGR has gone out at only 40k miles though.
