Had a 2000 cherokee, had a 98 grand cherokee, now I'm the proud owner of an 06 Commander! Bought it and it needs some TLC here and there. It didnt come with a jack kit. Any suggestions on a really good quality replacement. I have to go to the local landfill on occasion and have popped tires before on other trucks. Most of the kits on Amazon have not so good reviews. Not doing any serious trails with it, but a nice quality jack is a must have. Any suggestions are much appreciated.

@carpenter mike;

Welcome to the forum; Post some pics of your Commander when you can;

As far as Jacks go, I haven't seen any jacks specifically made for the Commander; I just bought a 2 ton hydraulic floor jack, which is what I've been using. I also have a couple of Hi-Lift jacks and I carry one of those when camping/trail-riding;

Here is a link for one of the Hi-Lift jacks that I have;

Not to side track OP's post, but this reminded me of the jack that came with my Commander. IT included everything but the handle that doubles for the spare tire tool to wench down the cable. Know the specific part number for that. Couldn't seem to pin it down at Mopar

A hi-Lift is great if you have somewhere to hook up to, like front or rear shackles. Otherwise, in the driveway i use a harbor freight 22inch 3 ton jack for standard repair work.

Yep, I have a 3 ton hydraulic SUV jack that I use when I'm in the driveway or anywhere on solid concrete/pavement.

The Hi-lift is for off-road and I have shackles front & rear, as well as an expanded off-road base for it.
