Hey, I'm twincreeks and I have a 2010 Commander Sport 4x4. Looking forward to reading up on some of the info here.

Bought my Commander last summer with 110k miles as a family vehicle/everyday transportation. 4 months/4K miles later, a valve dropped & ruined the engine. I knew it was a longshot but figured it was worth a phone call to the dealership anyhow since I had just recently bought it. Even though it was a used vehicle with more than 100,000 miles and I did not buy an extended warranty, The sales manager turned out to be a real standup guy and agreed to sell me a new factory engine with warranty at cost and they gave me the labor. Ended up saving me about half of what the job would have been without their help.

I just ended up having to sell my old hunting truck so it looks like my Commander will now have to do double duty. Planning to get some weather tech floor and cargo liners and maybe a small lift/leveling kit. I’m probably also going to have to get some more aggressive tread tires to handle some of the muddy spots at my hunting club properties...

Might even put a cargo basket on my roof rack. That could come in handy for carrying some gear up top and also be useful for luggage when we go on family vacations/trips

Well welcome to the forum! There's a wealth of information on here regarding pretty much anything to do with Commanders. That's pretty lucky for the dealership to treat you like that! She should be good to go for a long time now. A 2in lift/leveling kit could go a long way and not cost you too much :bigthumb:
