Hello yall,

I recently picked up a 2006 Commander as a second car, and will be eventually turning her into my toy. She's a bit rough, but I think she'll do fine once I get some things sorted out.
I'm looking forward to learning from you guys.

We moved up here from North Carolina about 8 years ago. It's alright, but I miss the south. We plan on moving out of NY when we retire in another 15 or so.
And thanks for the links!

No problem.

When I left Long Island in 89, it was still a somewhat tolerable place to live.

I still have a buddy of mine that lives there and he's told me about the ridiculous amount of building & overcrowding that's taken place there over the last 3 plus decades.

I wouldn't want to see it now, from what he's described.

All the nice wooded areas I explored & played in as a kid are all gone. Houses everywhere now. Same reason I left Florida last year, just too many damn people.

Sad, but, I still have some nice childhood memories from growing up on the Island.
