Hey all, my name is Kyle, the handle is dodgerr. I've owned lifted 4x4s since my first truck at 15, now at 41 I'm working on the wife's 2006 Commander. I installed Bilstein 5100s up front on the bottom groove, it actually did give the 1.2" the instructions indicated. I'm looking at adding spacer plates on top of the strut hat to level it out. I was in such a hurry to get the truck together, I forgot to trace the shape of the strut hat before putting it all back together.

Does anyone have a strut out or a Rusty's or JBA spacer plate they could trace and somehow get the image to me? I have a CNC flame cut table, I just don't feel like braking down the front end twice. To be clear, I need 1/4" on the driver's side but only 1/8" on the passenger.

Only other "mod" at this point is blasted and painted the OEM wheels gloss black and put on General Grabber AT2s in 255/70r17.

Id do this for you if i had it out. Good luck.

Why didnt you just install the 5100s at a higher setting?

I thought about it but the next groove up was 2", which would have made the front 1/4" higher than the rear. Then I'd have to level that out. I wanted to go just high enough to clear these tires and no more. It is my wife's daily driver. We'll see if she's interested in going higher as it grows on her.

Hey - update. I measured all the strut bolt dimensions from the topside under the coolant overflow bottle and traced the shape of the shim from a photo online. CNC flame cut today, paint tomorrow, installing this weekend.

Looking forward to seeing the finished product.
