Hi my name is Shawna. I’ve owned my 2008 commander for 6 years now. It has 217,000 miles on it and has treated me great for the most part! It has a 3” lift and rhino liner on the bottoms of the doors and fender flares. I hit a deer at the end of September it took awhile for the body shop to submit my estimate. This past Thursday I learned that they totaled it, so I’m buying it back and getting it fixed back up! I’ve been having trouble with the airbag light turning on and off randomly and when that happens my hvac motor and compass doesn’t work until the airbag light goes off. If anyone has any insight on that I’d love to hear! Also got a code for abs module internal fault. My abs, brake, traction control, esp, and bas lights are on. I brought it to a dealership and they tell me all I need is a pigtail for my abs sensor. If that’s the case why would the code pop up for the abs module?

Sounds like a bad wheel speed sensor, or wiring to it.
If you can ID which one, not to expensive or hard to replace them.
