I’m thinking of going with this setup on my 06/4.7 it has 48K and its time for

new tires and a different look. Ome heavy duty springs using the stock

shocks and struts. Goodyear Wrangler Silent Armor 255/70/17 with 1.5

Spidertrax spacers using stock rims. Will I have issues with rubbing? Should

I also replace the shocks and struts? Thanks.

You shouldnt have any rubbing what so ever with that size tire on a 2 inch lift. I personally would order the OME struts/shocks along with the springs but unfortunately that cost close to $1000.

The OME shock/strut may not be necessary for street and light off road driving. If you are going to off road a lot then the shocks and struts would be a good idea however 07JeepXK is right, the price jumps up from just buying the springs to the whole kit. You can always add the shocks and struts later on if you decide you need them but you will have to do twice the work on the front end.

I don’t off road much so that was why I leaning towards springs now and shocks/struts later. I would like to get it all done at once but as you both mentioned there is an added cost with the whole kit. 07jeepxk how do you like your Bridgestone Revo’s? I have considering buying them or the Goodyear’s. Looking for something that rides nice on the highway but also can handle the ice and snow.

I don't recommend to install the springs only, I installed the springs without the struts and shocks and now I regret it as the front wheels don't take big bumps easily! ,,, go for spacer lift kits instead of ground clearance.

I absolutely love the Bridgestone REVO's. They are amazing in the ice and snow and ride great on the highway. Im about to be upgrading to the 4 inch Superlift and am actually thinking about going with REVOs again, but in 285/70R17's. Im not sure though because I cant make up my mind if I want an all terrain or a larger mud terrain. If I go with a mud terrain it will mostlikely be a 295/70R17.
