I am in the market for a Commander as we speak...

I am going for a limited with the Hemi...

I was wondering I just want it to be a bit more beefy looking.. What is the best size tire with out any major issues I can run with a 2" lift?

It will probably be a 17" rim since I am going for a limited.. I am trying to get things lined up for when I buy it...

I don't want effect ride quality and I have noticed on other vehicles I have done it actually seems to help the ride going up a little...

I am also going to be towing about 5500lbs once and a while..

thx- milkman

This was on Rocky Roads website, is this seriously only a 2.25 inch lift?

Yeap, 2.25 in lift with bigger tires which probably gave a total lift of 3.25 in.

Also, if you search in the pics/media post, the owner has a thread with more pics and info in it.

How did you get the spare on the roof? Tires and wheels are heavy in addition to the height.

-I took off my pic because I dont want to offend anyone.....
But I dont think i could lift it easily....

so I have seen a lot of 2657017 with a 2 inch lift...with no rubbing..

I want a BFG K/O AT I like the look of these tires with the squared shoulder..

This may be the way I go.,..

When I have a deal made soon I probably will order and have th stuff ready for install when I get it home...

I am not sure If I am going to buy now or make a few more payments on my truck and wait til spring....not sure..

Thanks for the ideas!

Any one had any warranty issues yet?

I believe the ones that are running this size tires either have offset rims or spacers in order to have no rubbing.

Why wait? If you have the funds, get er done. It could help in the winter.

i know i know :)

I have the funds and a 4x4 for the winter already!...

I am really thinking about it now...I wanted to pay my truck down for a few more months so not such a big down payment to get out of it... I dont want to be upside down on the next purchase (or very little).

I really dont want to have to change rims...so I should stick to a 245 70 17 or a 255 70 17 instead with no spacers or new wheels?

I just want a little beefier look..I have TJ to go wheeling with...

Thnx
