2006 3.7L v6. Picked up the new o2 sensor to replace the upstream on bank 2, passenger side. Anyone have any tips or tricks for replacing this?

Definitely make sure the Jeep has sat for a while before trying to swap them out. I made that mistake and burnt the hell out of my hands. Also unplug the wiring harnes to the sensor first. Then use a standard 02 sensor socket to get the old one out. They can be a PITA..

Hopefully you bought OEM from Mopar.com or the dealership, anything less will throw codes. It took me two years to figure this out. I also replaced the 2 front. With the split socket borrowed from Advance Auto, it went well.

Yeah I forgot to mention that. I really messed up my jeep when I tried using (4) new bosch o2 sensors. I was getting misfires on almost every cylinder and other issues also. Swapped them out with oem and I was good to go
