I found this fluid that meets the Chrysler MS-10838 spec.
It's about 1/2 the cost of the Mopar fluid.
Has anybody here tried it?

I'm about to replace my radiator and think I may have to disconnect and refill my PS system.

The Mopar part numbers are 05142893AA or 68234631AA

Thanks, Rick

Haven't heard of it before; If you come across any other alternatives just bounce them off of this and make sure they meet Chrysler's requirements; It says for WKs and it's identical for XKs.

I have used it and it is great. I checked with both Penray and a friend who is a service manger at a jeep dealership and it is the exact spec. Here is the response from Penray -

<<< Can you tell me if your Penray 3832 Global Synthetic Power Steering Fluid meets the specs for the Mopar MS-10838? Thanks for your help. >>>

Alfred,

Yes. Penray 3832 Global Synthetic Power Steering Fluid is formulated to meet the specs for Chrysler MS-10838 power steering fluid. Ours is green like the Mercedes fluid while I believe the Mopar version is honey colored but that doesn’t affect performance.

My level is just at add level. After changing radiator a little was spilled from disconnect to get to radiator.
Not sure what previous owner had put in there and wondering if you think it's best to drain and add this product, instead of just topping off. Thanks
