06 commander 3.7 v6 I've got 245 70 17 street tires on it now but if I put on 245 70 17 mud tires on it will I get a huge power loss? I go through the mountains alot and didnt think I'd lose alot if any power but figured I'd ask

If the specs you posted are correct, (i.e. no tire size change, width or otherwise) then it's a moot point. You might lose 5% of MPG.

I lost about 4 MPG with mine, but they're 265/70R17 which is something like 3.5" inches diameter, and 2.5 inches wider than stock. :)

I too have a V6 and went to the same tire size with no affect on power or MPGs. My Commander is my daily driver and I commute about 90 miles a day with 95% of that being on the highway so I wanted little to no affect on power or fuel economy. I do also go off-roading once in a while and it handles like a champ.
