I have been shopping around for wheels lately- some sellers are including the center hub bore size measurement.

Anyone know the standard hub bore spec for the 07 Commanders? Several dealers state their wheel fits the XK, but the hub bore size differs, most don't list it but some indicate from 71.5MM, 78.1MM, 94.62MM to "not hub centric".

I want the wheel I decide on to mount up just like the oem wheel (pictured 17"/7.5 mineral gray alloy) does at the hub center.

Guess I can drop the spare and try to measure it if I have to.

Standard Commander hub size is 71.5mm. MB72 and MB Gunner 5's in 17" are both hub centric.

If you find a wheel that has a larger hub than this there may be a hub ring available. Hub rings are not spacers, and they do not carry a load. All a hub ring does is full the gap and help you center the wheel on the hub when mounting the wheel and tire on the vehicle. Hub rings can help prevent/ minimize vibrations that are caused by a miss aligned wheel.

We sell hub rings for $15.00 per set and they are free with the purchase of a set of wheels (if available).

you guys can't get the matte black 72s in the +25mm offset can you?

online the flat black only shows in the -6mm offset.. :(

Or one of teh Level 8 Strike 5 setups that'll fit on a commander? I know.. I'm picky.

The MB72 is produced in size 17x8.5 +25 in the 5-5 PCD but only in the mirror machined finish.

The Level 8 is mainly designed for lifted applications and in the 5-5 PCD, comes in -12, -6, and 0mm offsets.

What wheel diameter are you interested in?

Yeah, saw that online, Was hoping for the +25 in black...

Looking for a 17" wheel with a little lower offset to use instead of using the spacers that seem to be so common.

an 8.5" +25mm would be about 5.7" backspacing, but stick out about 1.25" farther in the wheel wells.. Seems about perfect.

an 8.5 w/ 0, or -6mm would be ok at 4.5" backspace on the inside, but protrude 2-2.5" further on the outside, and I don't know if that would work...

edit - Granted, if the 8.5" 0mm offset would work, then that really opens up the wheel choices ;) The +25 is just rough to find something 'truck-like' and not 'bling-ish' if you will...

Any suspension modifications? What size tire would you like to run?

This will all be for the RR2.25" spacer lift in the mail.

Planning (hoping) to run 265/70-17s either BFG A/T KO, or M/T KMs.. Haven't decided yet, but leaning KM2s.

I like the look of taller rather than wider... Wouldn't mind running the 245/75-17, KM2s but they aren't spec'd the wider rim width, and the 265/70-17 is really the only next step up in the KM2s
