Rear muffler delete - Stainless steel pipe 3' inch

I finally got rid of the rear muffler today and replaced it with a 3' inch stainless steel pipe. I thought some may be interested so here's the result with a quick video clip. Sounds more of a HEMI now when giving it some gas and on the move. Not too loud either, it's perfect (for me at least)

I did the rear muffler delete a few months ago and there where no codes or affects to anything. Just a slight improvement in the sound, but not by much.
Fuel consumption has not changed

The muffler provides the engine needed back pressure; Never a good idea to completey do away with it, in my opinion.

That being said, I'm glad you haven't experienced any negative effects.

But, I would not be surprised if you do, somewhere down the road.

No there are two mufflers so to speak on Commanders, the back one by the back wheel is technically called a resinator.

Gotcha, now that I'm sitting here thinking about it, that makes sense.

I've seen them both, the light-bulb just never came on.....LOL.
