Hi All, Been lurking for a couple of years and have gotten some great info from you. But I just ran into an issue that I can't find any answers to.
I have a 2007 Jeep Commander with power drivers seat. Its on the way out. I bought a 2006 power drivers seat. Well... Different wiring harnesses...
just for Quick Reference. since the owners manual sucks.
i just changed my transmission and transfer case 2 days ago.
Transmission and Transfer Case:
5.7L V8 and 4.7L V8- QT2 and QD2
Transmission- 6.5 QTS fully synthetic ATF+4
Transfer Case- 3.5 QTS fully synthetic ATF+4
Our 2006 4.7 is just about to turn 90,000 and the only non maintenance items we've had to address are replacement of the battery and front sway bar bushings (the battery is not that unexpected).
The Commander has been outstanding, even more so considering it is a first model year vehicle...
I have a 2006 Jeep commander limited 5.7 Hemi and need to replace the seals on my nv245 transfer case wondering how to remove the spindles on front and rear of transfer case do I have to disassemble the whole transfer case to get seals out??
Does anyone know where the best place to get a Factory Service Manual for a Commander Sport (3.7L) is? I've seen them online for $20, but I was wondering if anyone knew of someplace I could get it for cheaper.
Also, does Haynes not make a manual for the Commander? I've heard good things about...
