Removing front diff cover on a 06 commder

Ummm, never done it, take the advice of someone that has over mine, but just looking it it, it appears pretty obvious, support the diff with something, remove the mount bushing attached between the cover and chassis, remove the bolts to the cover, and pry the cover off. Up to you to draing before or as you remove the cover.

I have not removed the front differential cover, but I have had my front isolator mount removed. Just some FYI, If removing the front isolator to remove the front differential cover, I would jack the front end of the vehicle up. The front axle will rotate rearward and will be a pain in the butt when trying to put everything back together.
