Hey All, I'm lucky enough to own 2 Commanders at the same time. One is a 2006 3.7L Commander Sport and the other which I just picked up a few weeks ago. The new one is a 2006 Commander Limited 5.7L Hemi!

Well, the Hemi Commander has been displaying Service Park Assist System message on the EVIC on every start. Once the car gets put in reverse, the car beeps and the backup red LEDs light up (the set of 2 red on the far left and far right) and the P off button is enabled for the rest of ride time.

Questions:
  • Where should look first to diagnose this issue sensors (they look fine to me) or park assist computer?
  • If sensors, how do I test them to see if they are good?
For the park assist computer, I could pull out the working unit from my 3.7 Commander to test and see if the unit in 5.7l is bad.

Any guidance on this is very much appreciated.

Welcome to the XK Forum.

I made a signature for you. You had QRII as drive type, I changed it to QTII is that right?
Use the "Search Community" box above - it is your best friend.
On the park sensors, it could be bad connections on one or more of the sensors.
