I picked up my commander used. It's a 4x4 Limited - 06 with 14000 miles on it. When I go over potholes or small bumps in the road, it sounds like a small brief rattle from either the left or right front sides, coming from the suspension maybe? The shocks aren't bottoming out but there is a small loose rattling sound. Reminds me of when I had a ford taurus that had some rubber bushings worn out on an arm of the suspension assembly in the front. Is there anythin easy I can do to troubleshoot this, or maybe it's supposed to be like that. It doesn't feel like the suspension real tight sounding in front, seems a little loose maybe?

Most likely it is the bushings. Quite a few members have had problems with the bushings wearing out prematurely. Apparently there is a quality issue.
