Hi gang,

First, anyone planning on going to the Jamboree in Borrego/Salton Sea in October? Deadline to register is coming up. I'm undecided.

Second, I'm planning a camping/jeeping trip for October. Looking at Eastern Sierras (I have some good guide books for the area and have done a lot of backroads there myself), Trona Pinnacles, Goler Wash/Barker Ranch (Death Valley).

I'm taking my 2.5 year old son on the camping trip, so it may be a slower pace (i.e. bit longer to get going in the AM, more stops, longer lunch, etc.), but am always interested in some company.

I have considered it but will likely pass. I have Boy Scout and Cub Scout Camping coming up that will put me out in Anza Borrego in the next 12 months. A couple of places to check out in that area..Mud Caves and Agua Caliente campground.
