Took my two youngest daughters and my niece to the Tallgrass Prairie Preserve north of Pawhuska, Oklahoma today. It is an interesting place to tour. Lots of buffalo roam the plain. The buffalo are splitting up into their family units, getting ready to start calving. Part of the preserve lies on the late western actor, Ben Johnson's ranch. Here are a few pics. It was cold today and tried to snow on us while we were there. The DVD player kept the girls occupied until we got there. Uma (I named my Commander) is a joy to drive. I can't wait to take her up to Creede, Colorado this summer and hit the Jeep trails.
