I've noticed a good bit of slack in at my throttle body at both the throttle cable and the cruise control. Maybe half an inch of slack? I've looked all over it and don't see any way to adjust it which is strange compared to Previous owned cars. Ived searched Google, YouTube and here and found nothing. I know there is a switch inside that adjusts the pedal is that how the slack is taken up?

Also I believe I made a sig so hopefully it shows

Give us a little time, there are not of commander owners left :(
Your signature looks great.
If you have the adjustable pedals option it does not do anything with the gas pedal.

@Lucas29k ;

That's most likely a 17 year old throttle body cable, with 253,000 Miles on it.

It's probably time to bite the bullet & replace it, they only last so long.

Majority of vehicles have adjustment on the cable. Is this cable not adjustable? If so that's a very poor design and I assume correct since I can't find any adjustment info anywhere
