It's time for new rear shocks on my '06 Commander (probably way past time actually). It'd got 88K on the odometer and the last 8K or so it really wants to "dance" going down crappy country roads.

Thought I needed struts as well but after reading a few threads it sounds like they are a "life of the vehicle" part unless they are obviously failing which mine are not (no leaking, no noise, front end doesn't bounce).

I want to run Bilstein's but need a hand making sure I order the correct size. I'm running the Daystar 2" lift and have wheel spacers, no other mods. I've seen some references to the 5150 series but I'm thinking I'd like to run the 5100 series if possible, don't see the need for the crossflow reservoir on the 5150's.

Is it correct that I'm looking for a shock with approximate extended length of 26"and collapsed of 16"?

Thanks in advance.

My RC shocks are 15.5" collapsed 26" extended. No issues so far. Only about a thousand miles on them though.
