Need any info on the 2010 5.7 limited

We bought our 2006 Limited new, as you all know they don't make them
any longer. My wife drives the jeep to and from work then I drive it when
we travel together.

She is talking new car. I don't want to loose the Commander. I have hand washed the commander since new and it still looks new. It has 80,000 miles on it now and no doubt her friends have new vehicles.

I tried to interest her in the Amg g55 3 or 4 yrs old and she doesn't think
it fits our home or her beauty salon parking lot. Customers may not appreciate it.

She expressed interest in a BMW big suv. Also the big Volvo.

I then turned toward the Grand Cherokee srt and she thinks the jeep
is too small and not cute in the rear.

My plan was trade my 1998 5.9 grand cherokee on the srt and keep the commander.

She went a few months without thinking of upgrading and then started up
with it again.

This time I replied, lets looks on the internet for dealers with a 2010 low mileage Commander.

To my surprise there are not that many 5.7 Limited out there with low miles on dealer lots.

I did find one with 34000 miles on it close by and am looking to have the dealer swap my lift, tires and rims to it.

Is there any thing I need to know before I do this swap?

Looks like it will cost around 15k to.trade? I.fully understand keeping the boss happy but that is a big chunk of change to only drop 46, 000 miles.
Sounds like you have a real nice 2006 and have maintained it properly. How about trading off the GC and spending some $$$ for a car for her? Best of luck.

Thanks for the reply, she won't drive a car, claims she can't see well from it.
I'm sort of attached to the Grand Cherokee. Unbelievable power.

The 2010 in the sunlight has spider webbing in the paint and a few scratched down the passenger side.

Maybe I need to look into trading the Commander on the 2014 Srt in white with tow package.

We'll see what happens this w/e

Traded Saturday for one.

Drove 5 hr's to Roswell Ga to a Jeep dealer who had two SRT Vipers, a Nissan GTR, a Porsche I'd never seen before and some sort of high end Audi roadster. Oh, also a Cobra Mustang.

All inside the showroom with my bright white Jeep SRT.

It's loaded, even has the optional tires. Rims are the vapor black chrome.

Love it so far. Not a Commander though. Front seat room is gone, height is gone and
looking like a vehicle people are not familiar with is gone.

Really sad but the SRT tows #$#@!!!

I video'd them pulling it out of the showroom. I've not posted it where I can stick it on here but it is on my facebook lol.

It's been great owning the Commander...my wife and I miss it.

I feel sorry for all of you when you need to buy something else.

You don't have choices out there that compare to the Commander
short of a Mercedes G550 or the one we wanted, Amg G55.

I don't think the Merc name fits my house or lifestyle so we
went full out for the SRT.

I've already debadged it, no more Grand Cherokee down the side.
I've ordered two Mopar SRT emblems same as the one on the tail gate
which I will place on the front doors where I removed the GC logo.

I also ordered a Dodge SRT emblem that has two bolts on the rear
that connect to the lower front grill, drivers side.

Thanks.
Still miss the commander. lol
It sold in less than a week from Palmer Jeep in Roswell Ga.
I have already looked at some others on cars.com lol
I think I will just work on my old 5.9 limited. Needs new
front calipers, rusty sticking and enjoy the SRT.
I've debadged the GC logo and added SRT emblems to the doors and lower front grill. Sweet ride.
