Just today my tire pressure monitor indicator came on, to my knowledge my XK does not have a tire pressure monitor system, it is not an option through my EVIC, has anyone else experienced that? Does my XK have the TPMS but it's just now showing up in the EVIC? Why is it doing that?

Thanks!

Nevermind! I guess I have the base TPMS, didn't know there was a base and a premium, I thought that if my XK did have TPMS I would be able to see the actual tire pressure of all tires. One of my tires must've lost pressure during off-roading and the base TPMS will only display the indicator.

I would've deleted this thread but I couldn't find the option to do so.

All Commanders have the TPMS--either the basic system which just says low pressure, or the premium system that shows each individual tire pressure. Probably just came on because the ambient air temperaure got cooler so the air inside the tires is not as expanded.

mine has been modified--it's been painted/colored black over the top of it. I presume it's on the upper left of the dash display? I have no idea if it ever comes on or is on.

Dude I'm guessing based on what I have read on this forum that you are going to be having lots of little issues like that on your XK. The impression I got from reading your previous owners threads and responses that he could be a little careless with his mods and idea's and used the crap out of that thing. Just thought I would fill ya in a little bro.

So turns out one of my tires was running a little low, another awesome thing I found out about my XK that makes me "luv" it even more. I didn't think I had TPMS since the manual states that even the base system is optional.
