Usually, if they fit the valve stem hole and will seal it they should work just fine. You should get new rubber seals if swapping them from your factory rims.

what if i dont use it on the new wheels and keep the factory wheels intact for the winter. is there a way to disable the monitor system and turn it back on whenever i put the factory wheels back on?

That will most likely work with the Commander system as I am sure they are the same. You just need to make sure the sensor fits into the aftermarket rims. I believe it attaches to a mount point on the rim and not just part of the valve stem.

The pressure sensor on the factory wheels is mated to the valve stem. to remove , you must unscrew the valve stem from the sensor, which sits on the inside wheel edge directly below the valve stem. if you don't put the sensor from your stock wheels onto your new wheels, an annoying dash light will come on.
